You could try it...That's a great idea, Yuliya. You could try it and see how it goes by doubling the Cassis. I would likely add a few teaspoons of flour, actually, to the filling. Not more than a tablespoon, though. I don't think more pecans would absorb enough of the extra Cassis. And, I do agree, this cake would benefit from a bit more Cassis!
